Martha says: Since Jonathan graduated from Brown and both boys are now living on the west coast, I’m learning to be the mother of adult children and looking forward to being a supportive mother-in-law and grandmother in the future. I enjoy my work at the quilt museum and have more quilting projects in my head than I can ever complete in several lifetimes. That all keeps me in balance as I wait to see what the rest of my family will be doing in the upcoming year.

Bob says: My startup is winding up, and I’ll be on to a new (ad)venture in 2004. I’ve been doing more research on the history of computing, in conjunction with the newly expanded Computer History Museum in California. The SIMH (Computer History Simulation Project) has become a team effort, with more than 30 collaborators world-wide.

Ben says: This summer I left DigiDesign to pursue a career as an Air Traffic Controller. Lori and I spent two weeks in Italy in July; it was the hottest summer on record but we still had a wonderful time. I have just completed my first of two semesters at a community college near Los Angeles where I am working through the prerequisite aviation courses for ATC. I’m also working part time as a computer programmer. Lori has been studying linguistics, translation techniques and Chinese at U C San Diego and teaching linguistics and tutoring French and Spanish.

Jonathan says: I've been working for Microsoft for about 6 months now, and am deeply involved in my project in Windows Embedded. I've been settling into a regular life in Redmond, WA supporting myself, keeping the apartment habitable, and spending pretty much all my free time on the phone with Larissa. We got engaged at Timberlock this summer. She gave me this cute little ring with two kitties leaning on each other. Larissa's my Fiancée! It's been four months and it still makes me all grinny to think about.
